Hi John,
Where will our species be when the dying sun consumes this earth? Long, long extinct (as I think) or colonisers of other planets? I got the idea of making the immaculate maculate from Nietzsche who wrote (as you most probably know) that his beloved Christianity, in making virgin birth immaculate thereby made it maculate. A very astute observation.
